The Alexandria/Pineville Area CVB and area partners are excited to announce the kick-off of the 2012 Close to Home program.
A special event will be held at the I-49 Welcome Center, Exit 94, on Friday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. There will be live entertainment, food, and door prizes, as well as information from area attractions.

The Good Food Project at the Food Bank of Central Louisiana has scheduled several gardening classes for the Summer. The classes will be taught by the GFP director, Lori Garton at the Food Bank at 3223 Baldwin Avenue in Alexandria (behind Sam's Club).
